Rosebud County Fairgrounds - 2011 Rental Rates

Before planning an event at the fairgrounds, please come to a Fair Board meeting to discuss the event with the board and have it approved. Meetings are usually held the 2nd Monday evening of each month, every month except November.

IMPORTANT:  Cleaning and damage deposits will be held in the fair office and will be refunded if the area or property is left in as good or better condition than it was found. The Rosebud County Fair Board reserves the right of approval on all events. A hold-harmless document must be signed and attached to all rental agreements. Restrooms will be clean and stocked prior to events. It is the responsibility of the renter to clean the area rented and dump garbage in receptacles provided. Proof of liability insurance naming Rosebud-Treasure County Fair as an additional insured will be required for all events and must be supplied by the insurance company, NOT by the renter. Depending on the type of event, other types of insurance may be required.  All rents and deposits must be paid before the event begins unless otherwise authorized by the Fair Board or its agents.  In order to determine the correct amount of rental to be charged under a percentage rental agreement, the Fair Board reserves the right to audit the books and/or sales records of organizations selling concessions under such an agreement, or to take whatever steps necessary to ensure the accuracy of reported sales.  These rates and rules were approved by the Rosebud County Fair Board in January 2010 and are subject to change.

FULL ARENA (Grandstands, arena, bathrooms)

$200 first day, $150/day thereafter $500

CONCESSION STAND $150 minimum per day or 9% of gross sales, whichever is greater. $500
BEER SALES BOOTH Rate determined by board upon approval of event

30x60' STAGE (Not to leave fairgrounds) Rate determined by board upon approval of event. Additional charges to move the stage into place and back out will be added.  
NORTH ARENA AND BATHROOMS $50 per day $150
RV CAMPING (Graveled area) $20 per night (includes water and electricity)  
TENT/TRAILER CAMPING (4-H area) $10 per night  
FOLDING CHAIRS (Not to leave fairgrounds) $1.50 per chair per day  
FOLDING TABLES (Not to leave fairgrounds) $8.00 per table per day $75 on older tables, $150 on newer tables (per table)
TENT (No livestock events; tent cannot be taken out of Rosebud County) $2000 per event $3000
